Here we come...

Ah... missed you blog. I know my fans have been dying for a re-post (conceited... no?) so here it is. Yay for 2011!!! I am determined to have a happier and more productive year than 2010! So just to catch all of you up to speed, here it is.

January started off pretty typical, drama in the life of yours truly erupted as usual... but Since its almost April and I can't remember exactly what happened it must not be that important. However I was getting geared up for the terrible two's since Junebug's birthday was only a month away! I totally had to prepare for the best Mickey Mouse party ever and the emotional side of my sweet baby turning 2! I thought this day would never come.

So here we are in February and the birthday month begins. Filled with cupcakes and candy and presents, yes all month, she is my Junebug afterall. I made the invitations (of course with lots of help from the B-friend) we mail them off and start planning decorations. Finally its the day of the party and it goes off without a hitch, except for having baby daddy's family, boyfriend's family, and my family, it was a fun mixture of people. Just so happy that Junebug is loved sooo much by sooo many! Please see pictures as follows for all the wonderful details:

Whew, we made it threw that, now on to March! March was pretty fun. The stress of the job-less boyfriend had finally gotten to me. Things were becoming on edge until I was reminded what a lucky woman I was. I have the most beautiful daughter... who loved me unconditionally regardless of having non-name brand cheese. I have a supportive family and friends who is there for me always, and maybe the b-friend doesn't have a job right now but what kind of happiness comes from money anyways (not the good kind I will tell you that).

Of course because I was determined for 2011 to be a fabulous year... March got brighter! B-friend and I decided that it was time to move out of our haunted house and to somewhere that we truly love and can enjoy, all 4 of us (the 4th being Miller, the dog). So he got serious about finding a job in downtown Memphis.

So we found out this past Monday that B-friend got the most amazing job! Great starting pay, all benefits, and the best part of it all, discounted rent! Woo Hoo, here we come downtown Memphis! 

We've taken Junebug downtown for a few trial runs... and she loves it! We have rode the trolley till we feel like puking, and she is giggling the whole time. We have walked the streets and she holds my hand the whole time just screaming, "Mommy, whats this", pure excitement. She also wants to see the river, non-stop, good thing the balcony from our condo has a great view! We are truly excited and cannot wait to have that feeling of a community, being able to walk to the farmer's market for fresh veggies, not to mention all the free entertainment of city life! This is going to be a great step up for us and we couldn't be more ecstatic.
